Welcome to HollyWoof Mi-ki's
Here at HollyWoof we are highly dedicated in raising healthy, beautiful, socialized Mi-Ki's that are true to the breed. We have one or two litters a year, this way we can provide lots of attention to each individual puppy. Puppies are whelped in our bedrooms, or a nursery room, where the moms can peacefully nurture her babies. New born Mi-Ki puppies are handled by us at birth. This procedure is the first step for proper socialization. All dogs/pups are family raised which consist of lots of attention, love, and affection. At an early age, we work on housebreaking, the method we use is Newspaper, or Wee-Wee pads. So most puppies that do leave here, are trained to go to paper, and prepared for their new home. We find it very difficult to part with our puppies and of course get quite attached, but we don't forget that the greatest thrill about breeding, is to place each pup in the best homes possible, and to share this wonderful rare breed with the world.
As ethical breeders, we are dedicated in always improving the breed. All of our adults are DNA'd and recorded through the UKC. Every dog is examined yearly by our local veterinarian and screened to ensure that our Mi-Kis are in the best possible health. All of our Mi-Ki's, are current on vaccinations, wormers, health exams, and Cerf and OFA tested prior to breeding. The IMR and Continental Club is dedicated in working together to keep the breed strong. At HollyWoof every puppy is a star, and gets the royal treatment, whether the pup is being sold for breeding, or as a loving pet, with a neuter/spay agreement.
